Travel the World Without Leaving PB

Traveling. Most of us have it a bucket list (or at least a Pinterest board) for it. As time and money make traveling tricky sometimes, here’s a guide to traversing the world without leaving PB.

To Visit Middle Earth:

Take an imaginary trip to New Zealand, where The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films were filmed, at Bare Back Grill. Their mouth-watering recipe is actually licensed from the beloved Public House restaurant in Queenstown (on NZ’s South Island), so you know you’re getting the authentic experience.

To Go to Japan:

Head to one of PB’s great sushi spots like Zen 5 Sushi on Garnet. (The price, quality and wonderful presentation is hard to beat.) After some sake bombs, it’ll be a lot easier to imagine you’re overseas!

To Recreate Hawaii:

Stop by Ralph’s on Mission Boulevard and get one of their pineapple tubs to go. Take it to the sand and enjoy the island fruit as you watch the waves crash. A fruity drink involving coconut rum doesn’t hurt either! Grab one at a beachside bar or restaurant.

Go South of the Border:

Being just south of California, there’s oodles of Mexican restaurants and taco shops here. Whether it’s Taco Surf Taco on Mission Boulevard, colorful and margarita-famed Fred’s on Garnet or another venue, you’ll be saying hola before you know it.
