The Best Way to Enjoy Cinco de Mayo in San Diego

San Diego, it’s time to tuck into tacos & sip on margaritas –

Here is your guide to planning for May 5th in SD! Before we get into the margaritas, here’s a quick history of what happened that day. (And nope, it’s not Mexico’s Independence Day).

It was May 5, 1862.

A battle was near its finish. The Mexican army vs. France.

The Mexican army won a surprising victory. Cinco de Mayo is celebrated in honor of that win.

Naturally, it’s also now a great way for Southern Californians to indulge in tacos and tequila.
