A 2019 Guide to Father’s Day in San Diego

Father’s Day is almost here. Hard to believe though. Mother’s Day was only a few days ago…right?

This is the very best ways to enjoy father’s day 2019 in San Diego.

BBQ at the Beach

Let’s be real; most Dads love BBQ and playing football (or frisbee or catch…) along the Pacific. Head to Mission Beach and Mission Bay; you can grill on the green grass areas there. Then, go onto the sand to play games…or simply let Dad layout and have a lovely summer nap.

Take Dad on a San Diego Brewery Tour

If your Dad loves beer, great news (in case ya missed it): San Diego is America’s craft brew capital.

Breweries in SD are like Starbucks in San Francisco.

They are pretty much on every corner.

You can work in a few breweries and brew tasting rooms well if choose multiple in one similar neighborhood. Here are a few potential itineraries for you:

If you’re going to be joining in the tasting with Dad, do be safe and use the magic power of Uber or Lyft to get you from venue to venue.

Take Father to a Fine Restaurant

If your dad is more about bechamel over beer, take him to a great San Diego restaurant that goes all out for Father’s Day, such as:

But Whatever You Do this Father’s Day…

Show him love in whatever way feels right for him. Maybe tell one of your favorite stories about him while sipping a brew at The Lost Abbey. Tell your dad something you’re thankful for about him over dinner at Nine-Ten.

Yadadamean?
