San Diego is famous for many things. The top dogs usually include Sea World, Mexican food and, of course, the beach! If you enjoy participating in ocean activities or hey, even just watching them, come check out the 14th annual Row for the Cure this Sounday – October 26th.
This event is featuring rowers, paddlers & kayakers of every level. These water sport champions will be racing to finish a 4.5 kilometer course that will have people cheering on the sidelines till no end.
To participate, the cost ranges from $30 to $125. (The amount of money for registration depends on whether you are rowing as an individual or as part of a team.) To simply watch, however, is free. The proceeds will all go directly to benefiting Susan G. Komen San Diego, an organization founded in 1995 that is committed to fighting and educating people on breast cancer.
