How to Get Involved in Pacific Beach Planning & Community

There are several ways to get more involved in the PB neighborhood, from joining committees to taking part in beach clean ups. Here are a few tips for getting started:

Join the Pacific Beach Town Council or Attend their Events

The PB Town Council hosts monthly meetings to discuss local happenings, upcoming events and beyond. See the schedule for upcoming meetings here.

You can also:

  • Attend events, like the 37th Annual PAESAN on September 27 – This is an event to show appreciation or our police and emergency services. Tickets are only $5 for adults, while kids are free. Snag tickets here.
  • Join or donate to the PB Town Council. Members receive special discounts. More info here.

Volunteer or Support the Pacific Beach Clean and Safe Program

Discover Pacific Beach developed the Clean and Safe Program to offer tools that would foster positive change for our unhoused and transient population, as well as boost the entire community’s safety and cleanliness.

There are Safety Ambassadors and a Street Team helping these efforts. If interested in contributing, in trying to get efforts to be every day of the week, contact the offices at :

Or

(It’s even possible to donate by using Discover Pacific Beach as your charitable organization through Amazon Smile, which doesn’t cost you any extra money at all. Get started here.)

Support Local Farmers, Chefs & Artists at the Weekly Farmer’s Market

The PB Farmer’s Market is every Tuesday from 2 – 7 pm. It gathers members of the community together and helps support neighboring farmers, chefs and beyond.

Get more info at the PB Farmer’s Market website.
