Here’s the beauty of PB: you can surf in the morning, then dress up fancy and attend horse racing in the afternoon. That’s because Del Mar, which is north of Pacific Beach, has the famous Del Mar Racetrack.

Why Visit the Del Mar Racetrack?

It’s not only a famous spot for horse racing; the Del Mar Racetrack offers great fine dining. For example, the Del Mar Racetrack’s Thoroughbred Club hosted the Bing + Bubbles + Brunch event each Sunday of this November. It featured a 3 course meal and bottomless mimosas. Emphasis on the bottomless mimosas.

3 Course Brunch Review

Appetizer-wise, diners got to try items like this heavenly “Health Nut” martini (Greek yogurt, honey, granola and fruit). They also offered baskets with Danishes, English muffins and tea bread with maple whipped butter and fig jam.

For entrees, there were items such as the “Surf” plate, which had crab cakes and eggs benedict, the “Turf” plate, aka Chilaquiles. #delicious

The divine desserts? Mixed fruit cobbler with vanilla ice cream and carrot cake with creamcheese frosting and orange caramel sauce.

To finish, tea and coffee.

Let’s just say, I was still full…8 hours later.
