Football Season’s Best Places to Cheer on Notre Dame in San Diego #FightingIrish

Are you an alumni of Notre Dame? Whether you are, know someone who is or, hey, just support the team, there are two particularly amazing places to cheer on the Fighting Irish in the San Diego area.

Prospect Bar and Grill

Head slightly north of Pacific Beach to the Prospect Bar and Grill in La Jolla. Sip great drinks and enjoy fantastic food while overlooking Prospect and the world famous La Jolla Cove. It’s so good, the official Notre Dame Club of San Diego encourages its members to go watch all of the televised Notre Dame football games here.

Discount Cards & Specials

There are super specials on select drinks and foods (like Irish Car Bombs) during games. You can even get a club card that gives you a discount on regular priced menu items from Prospect Bar and Grill.

East Village Tavern & Bowl

For those looking to head South, we recommend the East Village Tavern & Bowl in downtown San Diego. The Notre Dame Club of San Diego also gives a major  thumbs up for Notre Dame alumni, friends and family coming here. Why? Probably because of the many TVs for watching the football game, good food and awesome atmosphere.

The club card mentioned earlier also gets discounts for members here at East Village Tavern & Bowl and, though the special drinks and food items are different, they’re also well priced and wickedly good here.
