The 22nd Annual San Diego Shamrock Party
This SD Gaslamp event is one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day parties on the west coast. At the San Diego Shamrock, you’ll see:
- Music stages featuring Irish punk rock bands, Celtic bands and DJs
- Traditional Irish dancers and make-you-want-to-dance go go dancers
- A never-ending supply of green beer and Jameson

Saturday’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Irish Festival (March 12th)
Busy the holiday night itself? Celebrate the Saturday before at the 36th annual Saturday’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Irish Festival. Starting at 10:30, on the corner of Laurel and Fifth Avenue, the parade will take off on its loop that comes back around to end at Sixth and Laurel.
After, head to nearby Balboa for an Irish festival featuring music, games and much more.
