Le Petit Bistrot is the epitome of an authentic French restaurant, the owner being from the land of croissants himself. Just a few minutes from Pacific Beach, Le Petit Bistro La Jolla is housed on the 3rd level, rooftop of La Plaza La Jolla.

Be prepared to stay a little while as the multiple-course menu has much to offer. We got a taste of the menu and highly recommend it.

The Ravioles de Gardbas (sea bass ravioli) were light and soft, the shrimp fish & the broth perfect for dipping baguette in after.

The Fore Gras Poele will be a very new dish to many, as it’s not often served the US. The truffle its served with truly makes the difference.

The Newest in San Diego Dinner Entrees

For great La Jolla dinner, the Tournedos St. Jacques (scallops from heaven) are bathed in a pea sauce. Sounds a tad odd but, being totally real, it’s amazing.

For the carnivorous types, this Boeuf Bourguignon (made so famous by Julia Child) is fantastic. Buttery soft meat that falls off the bone. Mmmm.

La Jolla Desserts, French Style

La Tarte Tatin is no normal apple tart. It’s a great La Jolla dessert made extra decadent by the caramel sauce.

Tiramisu Fruits Rouge is incredibly unique; tiramisu without coffee flavor, using fruit and creams instead.

When it comes to wine, we recommend asking the Le Petit Bistrot staff. They are highly knowledgeable and will be able to offer incredible samples/types!
