If you’re a Nebraska Husker fan who loves both football and the beach, there’s no better place to go than Duck Dive. This PB bar, which went through a jaw-dropping redesign fairly recently, is located near the crossroads of downtown Pacific Beach’s main streets. It’s also the stomping grounds of many Nebraska fans on college football Saturdays.

Duck Dive’s Football Atmosphere

The atmosphere is prime for watching a football game. Duck Dive’s a bit upscale, yet very casual and open, perfect for people who want the feeling of being outside with the classic pub experience. (It’s so open you can often enjoy some ocean breeze even beneath the ceilings of the pub!)

Upscale Yet Beachy & Casual 

The redesign brings a more upscale feel to the area; it’s a bit of a fancier establishment than other nearby bars, yet it retains a casual, down-to-earth feel because of the beachy design. The waving woodwork of the ceiling make you feel as if you’re under the water yourself.

Random note: Some fans particularly like that the bar stools are bolted down into the floor because it keeps that smooth, upscale aesthetic.

Food is a critical part of any sports game experience. Here, look forward to items like duck fat fries, biscuits & gravy and (for our healthier crowd) ahi poke with fresh avocado.
