The World Series Has Started: Where Are You Watching the Games?

Now through November 4th, the Mets and Royals will battle it out in the World Series. The San Diego Padres may not be in the finals this year (or the year before that or the one before that…) but, until the possibilities of next year, let’s talk about the best places to watch the 2015 games!

Miller’s Field

Miller’s Field is a great sports and baseball bar in Pacific Beach because it has:

  • Lots of TV screens.
  • Plenty of food options, like the spinach artichoke dip appetizer and buffalo fried chicken sandwich with tater tots (or, if you’re feeling real crazy, the sweet potato waffle fries).
  • A good variety of drinks, both beer and hard liquor-based.
  • 2 floors and a lot of room on each. So, if you’re cheering for the Mets and getting too close to a group of Royals fans, you can move to a different level for some distance.

SD Tap Room

Further inland, SD Tap Room is a great spot on the main street, Garnet. Famous for their beer soakers, it’s also a wicked spot for flat bread pizza (think Chicken Pesto, White Stone, Goat Cheese and more) and anything with guacamole.

Bub’s Dive Bar & Grill

There are a lot of great deals here at Bub’s in Pacific Beach, so if you’re heading out with friends and want to be ballers on a budget, this is a great option. For the next Tuesday game, tuck into a variety of their tacos famous on Taco Tuesdays. On the final night, November 4, you can get and divide 80 wings for $20. All while catching the big game.
