Cinco De Mayo 2016: Where to Celebrate May 5th in San Diego Right

Cinco De Mayo is almost here. In case you’re wondering about the history (don’t worry, we’ll get to the margaritas in a second) here it is:

On May 5th 1862, the Mexican army won a surprising victory against France. Cinco de Mayo, aka the “Five” of May, is celebrated each year to pay tribute. And, of course, Southern California loves any holiday that’s an excuse to indulge in tacos and tequila.

Speaking of which, here are a few ways to celebrate:

Cinco De Drinko – SDPC’s 5-Year Anniversary!

Starting at Tin Roof on G Street in downtown San Diego, celebrate Cinco de Drinko, oops, I meant de Mayo, with great drinks, dancing and sombreros.

With a ticket to the SDPC Pub Crawl, you’ll receive:

 

  • Open bar from 8 – 9 pm at Tin Roof bar (includes well drinks & beer)
  • VIP entry into each bar – 5 bars total (+ NO COVER CHARGE)

Best Margaritas in San Diego

 

If you’d rather stay in Pacific Beach or hit up the traditional Old Town neighborhood, we suggest:
